What do I get as a member?

The Magic SYMbol - a monthly online web magazine. Each month, you will receive a flyer in the mail with a secret password so you can go online and download the latest issue filled with magic tricks, advice, current news, fun and games.

Meetings - As a member of the S.Y.M, you are entitled to attend meetings at one of our Assemblies (chapters) around the world. As the Youth Program, you will also be entitled to attend meetings of The Society of American Magicians Assemblies. (Please note: local dues and fees may apply)

Discounts - member prices to special events, conventions, and shows. The Society of American MAgicians holds an annual convention and includes special youth activities. The S.Y.M. also has a Youth convention.

Bragging Rights - Of course you will get a membership card and pin to tell everyone that you are an official member of a premiere magical society.

SYMentor - A team of experts who you can contact by email for advice and suggestions to become a better magician.

Respect as a Student of Magic - As an official member of The Society of Young Magicians, magicians will feel comfortable mentoring and helping as you progress in your magic studies.

Joining the Society of Young Magicians

Membership in The Society of Young Magicians is $20 per year. If you are ages seven through seventeen and have a sincere interest in the art of magic, please download our brochure/application, fill out the form, read the oath and sign it, make out a check to The S.Y.M., and finally send everything in to:
